Context
This cheerful, handsome little robin, became The World's First Plastic-Negative Greetings Card in December 2021. Thanks to Richard's partnership with the eco start-up Zero Plastic.
The reverse of the cards read:
Drawn directly into copper, from life, in the garden of Spare's Wellington Studio in Greenwich, London. An adult European Robin weighs approximately twenty grams. Equivalent to one 500ml PET plastic bottle – the amount of plastic that is recovered from the marine environment by purchasing this card.
