Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021
We are delighted to announce that two of Richard's drypoint and watercolour prints, Greenfinch and The Tiff have been selected for the 253rd Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London.
This is Richard's 28th Summer Exhibition, the largest and most prestigious Open Exhibition in the world - having been held annually, without fail, since 1768.
These two avian artworks where chosen by Royal Academician Emma Stibbon RA, who curated 'The Print Room' at this year's show. We are truly honoured that Richard's works have been displayed alongside those of leading British printmakers Norman Ackroyd CBE RA, and the late Dame Elizabeth Blackadder DBE RA RSA, who sadly passed away in August. Both have had enormous influence on Richard's work over the past fifty years.
