Context
The Slipper Thief depicts Tina, who was a much-loved family pet. Kay drew the image from life onto a copper plate way back in the 1980s/90s. Only recently was this plate unearthed at Wellington Studio, and she decided to add an aquatint to give tone and depth. It was then printed, and Kay then added watercolour to bring Tina to life.
